I originally called Valley Auto Repair to secure a second opinion whether the water pump to my vehicle needed to be replaced. I was pleased I was able to secure an appointment within 1 day. Their technicians checked my car and determined that while I had had a minor water pump leak, it was currently dry as a bone. I did not require having a new water pump installed. Thee dealership service department where I purchased my car had informed me that it needed to be replaced and the cost would be approximately $584. There were a couple of reasons why I decided I needed a second opinion. First, there were no water spots or stains around or underneath my car. Second, my water pump light on my dashboard never came on. I received a phone call from Valley Auto Repair notifiying me when my car was ready for pick-up. They offered me a ride home after I dropped my vehicle off and also if I needed a ride to get there to pick up my vehicle. My car was clean after they performed the work. The front office staff were were knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The verbal quote on the cost to replace my water pump was almost $150.less than the dealership's estimate. (fortunately the water pump did not require replacing) They also performed a few maintenance tests to determine whether there was any other problems with my vehicle. Ipaid to have a couple of maintenance items fixed but when I had my oil changed 2 months previously, the dealership said every thing was okay. At this juncture, my car is literally purring like when I purchased it. Thank you Valley Auto Repair!!!
